Technically yes — a QR code is just an image. If you need to prevent ticket sharing, pair each QR code with a unique validation URL that can only be scanned once. The QR code itself does not enforce single-use; your backend check-in system does.
Do I need a special scanner app?
No. Every modern iPhone and Android phone can scan QR codes with the built-in camera app. Point the camera at the code, tap the notification, and the link opens in the browser.
